Jewish Fairy Tale Feasts

Following in the kitchen footsteps of their earlier Fairy Tale Feasts for young readers and eaters, authors Jane Yolen and Heidi E. Y. Stemple, offer Jewish folktales that concern food and accompanying Jewish recipes to try while reading the tales. Plus there are sidebar notes about the stories and the dishes. Yolen is the storyteller, Stemple the chef, but as mother and daughter, they enjoy and share both the food and the tales. As will readers whatever their ages.

Jane Yolen is the author of over 300 books, including Owl Moon, The Devil's Arithmetic, and How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight. Her books range from picture books through poetry collections, nonfiction, novels and story collections for young adults and adults.
