Store description

Schoen Books is housed in a firehouse built by the WPA in the 1930's. We are located in Western Massachusetts near Amherst College and Smith College and the National Yiddish Book Center. We are very close to Historic Deerfield and the main store of Yankee Candle.Next door is the Deerfield Arts Bank run by my wife Jane Trigere. see www.deerfieldartsbank.com We house 25,000 titles on the ground floor where the trucks used to be and our family lives upstairs 'over the shop.' We welcome visitors, but call ahead. Closed Saturdays.
