Handsome prize binding, leather with gilt decoration to spine, raised bands, title panel with gilt lettering, gilt lettering to front cover 'Ascott House School, Brighton' (UK). Marbled page edges slightly damaged at lower edges and fore-edge, marbled endpapers. Prize inscription following free front endpaper, signed by Maurice Jacobs, headmaster and founder of 'Ascott House School' for Jewish boy boarders, dated 1906. Pictures available on request.
