Produced for Roy Vernon Sowers by the Grabhorn Press and limited to an edition of 525 copies. A translated portion of The Chronicles of St. Denis dealing with the life of Joan of Arc. Illustrated from woodcuts from the original edition of 1493. The binding is solid and shows only very minor wear but is somewhat stained and grubby, with staining also to the pastedowns and end-papers. Otherwise the contents are in near fine condition. Black and red printing on heavy laid paper. There are no ownership inscriptions or other markings of any kind. This is an oversized volume and may incur additional shipping charges.
