Signed copy. Trygve Hjorth-Johansen was a Norwegian author and journalist . He was a reporter for several Oslo newspapers, including Dagbladet from 1916 to 1926, and was particularly known for his stylish travel letters. As a writer he made his debut in 1923 with Sydlandske nætter (Southern Nights) , which was followed by the travelogue Med Mørefiskere til Grønland (With the Fishermen to Greenland ) (1925) and the adventure novel Det grønne loppecirkus (The Green Flea Circus ) (1928). He also wrote so-called children's books; typical and popular at the time were Guttene pa sjøsprøyt (The Boys on the Spray) (1927) and Gutter under the Sydkors.
