Green cloth-backed marbled boards; thin 8vo; 32pp; not illustrated; printed in an edition of 150 copies. Extracts from Rowe's diary dealing with fishing between 1764 and 1774. Rowe's fishing occurred in ponds and streams with close proximity to Boston with an occasional junket to the Mashpee River on Cape Cod. An interesting insight to the sporting life in the neighborhood of Boston in pre-revolutionary times. This copy in very good condition with slight rubbing along the edges. The bookplate of Gordon Abbott is affixed to the front paste down and also this copy is inscribed to him by Phillips of the front end paper.
