Prior to the '90s, joint time-frequency analysis (JTFA) had been confined to academic research because of the complexity of the algorithms and the limitations of computing power. But later progress in the area of JTFA and the PC technology have dramatically expanded JTFA applications.

Part III discusses three real JTFA applications in the areas of radar image processing, biomedical signal analysis, and economy data analysis contributed by experts in their respective fields.
