Jonathan's Garden

Jonathan has been sent to his room for calling his sister names. While in his room, he meets the Keeper of the Garden of Thoughts. Jonathan is transported to his own garden. He sees Greed Worms and mushrooms growing from his ugly thoughts. Jonathan also views his sister's garden of music, rainbows, and fairies. He learns that he can always choose to create a great garden. This is a story for any age. We all have a choice.

Susan Ruck lives in Florida and Maryland with her husband Bernie and her cat Sam. An avid gardener on all levels, she believes children are the best gardeners. Her Sunflower Assisted Living homes encourage children and elders to garden together. Other upcoming books include Susie Sunflower-A Love Story, and Bloom Now-A Garden Journal for Life.

An artist form birth, Suzan Joy has spent much of her life painting and teaching. Her love of children and nature has been expressed in the books she has illustrated to date, including A Feather in my Cap, and The Ballad of the Ninth Note. Having left behind her east coast "life in the fast lane", Suzan currently resides at her pond-side studio cabin in Iowa, where she is writing and illustrating a children's book, When You Wish Upon a Starfish, as well as A Goddess Cookbook.
