Black blind stamped cloth boards with gold lettering on spine. Boards have edge rubbing and corner rubbing. There is split on the outside of the spine. Top and bottom of spine has some chipping. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper. Bottom two thirds of front free endpaper has been excised. There is a second blank front free endpaper which has some folds and wrinkles. Book has some foxing. Book is missing its last page (399-400) which concludes the letter on the burial of the Messiah and the outline of the next proposed series of letters. Book has some marginalia. Inv. # 12552.
