Brown cloth spine with 4 horizontal rules in gilt; unlettered, as issued. Light general toning and light soiling to decorative title lettered boards. Short, mild scrapes to board edges; corners lightly bumped. A small gouge to the lower edge of the rear board. Missing the front free endpage, the book opens to the title page. Some foxing scattered in text; generally light but heavier to the first 10 or so leaves. Three or four pages with evidence of a folded corner. The first page of Davenport's Narrative has been corner creased with some stress and two short tears to the page tip. Overall a solid and neat copy in better condition than usually found of this important set of primary accounts of western actions in the war of 1812.
