Cover is heavily worn bare spots to edges. Spine was loose and has been neatly repaired with clear library tape to prevent further deterioration and to allow gilt lettering to be easily read. Front hinge reinforced with tape. Back hinge beginning. Water stain (or foxing) to edges of first few pages. Pages show light aging but only occasional spots of foxing. Many illustrations including a map of Nile from its Source according to Hindu Books. Map of Eastern Equatorial Africa is missing. Pages tight except for one loose double page near center of book. 590p. Many illustrations. Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.
