The Journals, a Message from the Council of Ancients: 1

Stone, R. T.

"A stunning tale! Is it true? As true, I think, as the Book of Job. This is a literary work that stirs us. R.T. Stone is a latter-day evangelist, writing his own addendum to the Bible. It should, accordingly, afflict the comfortable." - (Robert Blair Kaiser, Award-winning correspondent for Time Magazine during Vatican II.)

"There's plenty of intrigue, wry humor, and soul-blessed romance as the various threads of Stone's parallel worlds finally come together after the trip of a lifetime-or several of them. In the spirit of David Wallace's Infinite Jest, this book stands out from the crowd" - (Matthew Gilbert, Review Editor, NAPRA Review)

"I was surprised at the power of The Journals to draw me in. Call it synchronicity or coincidence, but I discovered myself within the pages of this book-both my life circumstances and my philosophy, mirrored for me to reflect upon. I find myself asking many questions, such as why was this put in my path? How many other people will find their lives woven into the mysterious tapestries of The Journals?" - (Gary Eisler, Author and contributor to the Wall Street Journal, Forbes Magazine and The New York Times)

"A brilliant, mystical story hovering just above our sense of reality. This book challenges beliefs on every page, but rewards with light that buttresses faith. The Journals is fiction with a purpose-the healing of our fragile world." - (Rabbi Abie Ingber, Executive Director, Hillel Jewish Student Center, Cincinnati, OH)

"With a mix of whimsy and wisdom, The Journals takes you down a path leading deeper and deeper into areas of spirituality. Stone combines philosophy with soft-core mystery to create a new genre of literature: visionary fiction." - (Amy Firis, Literary Editor, City Beat)

"Stone creates engaging characters, a compelling story, mystery, New Age mysticism, and social consciousness and vigorously rattles them around between the pages of his new book, The Journals. After the pieces settle and the dust clears, we are left thoroughly entertained and quite unexpectedly filled with hope for the future." - "Stone paints the narrative masterfully. The struggles, personal discoveries and epiphanies of the people in this book mirror the battle of good and evil waged within us all. Each character is vividly portrayed within this captivating and layered story. I've found myself profoundly impacted by the entwined stories in The Journals and I look forward to a continued reflective journey in Book II." - -- Wes Gilbert, Reviewer, Dream Weaver Magazine
