The Journey Home: The Beginning

The Journey Home is the tale of Colonel Candice Felicia Smith and the people she encounters along the journey we call life. The journey begins when Colonel Smith's lifelong dream of journeying into space comes to fruition; and then, turns into an ill-fated shuttle ride that lands her in a universe far from Earth. A universe that would cause her to examine her life, her beliefs, her sanity, and her relationships since meeting young Cadet Zac. Cadet Zac dreams of deep space exploration, but the war with the Meathos curtailed any such adventure. The next best thing was training to be a fighter pilot just like his father and brother. He could not wait to graduate and join them on the battlecruiser. Zac's excitement was side-tracked when he discovered a derelict vessel floating in space...and the blue-eyed beauty inside it.
