My Journey with the Sun Rising from the West: Book #6

Dr. Eid addresses in this fourth book of his series, Pathways to Happiness, some of the thousands of similarities between the Quran, Torah, and Holy Books of the Hindus, Buddhists, and Shinto. Dr. Eid came to America to establish his organization, the International Movement for World Peace (IMWP), because the leaders of many countries overseas would not give him a license or approval to establish his organization. In this organization, Dr. Eid calls for the people of this burning world to live in a peaceful way, as one family, regardless of race, color, origin, doctrine, belief, or faith. The doctor often says, "Without the west and the countries of freedom, this life is a hell."

Dr. Eid's books are unique from many of the religious and political writings of today because he uses his extensive knowledge of diverse religious writings, including the Qur'an, Torah, and Christian Bible, to support his opinions and assertions about current political events and religious organizations. Whether or not you agree with Dr. Eid's ideas about peace and harmony between different ideologies, doctrines, and religious teachings, his words will inspire critical thought and offer new perspectives on timeless issues. His writings are peppered with moments of passion, humor, and tragedy, but always seek to bring the reader to a place of greater understanding and happiness. Dr. Ahmad S. Eid was born in Syria in 1939.
