About the Author

Twenty years ago Skip Morrow's enormously popular Official I Hate Cats Books established his career as an extraordinarily twisted cartoonist. Today, he has sixteen books and well over a thousand published greeting card designs to his credit. Publishers include Recycled Paper Greetings; Holt, Rinehart, & Winston; Seaver Books; Crown; Little Brown; Price Stern Slone; The Ink Group; and American Greetings.

Skip is a successful freelance illustrator as well, with clients such as IBM, Coors, Nation's Business Magazine, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Hitachi, Frito-Lay, Duracell, Random House, Simon & Schuster, Video Review Magazine, NYNEX, and Prudential.

One of Skip's most recent projects is the establishment of his own gallery, "The Art of Humor", in his hometown of Wilmington, VT. The gallery was created to showcase many of Skip's notoriously bizarre originals and limited edition prints that he has created over the past twenty-five years, in response to many requests from admirers who wished to see and collect his work.

Skip is also an accomplished singer and musician (playing guitar and piano) who performs professionally throughout the Northeastern U.S., the Carribean, and Bermuda. He lives in Vermont with his wife, two daughters, their dog Charlotte, and their two cats, Ben and Milo.
