A Good to Very Good copy of Spratlin's biographyof the 16th-century Afro-Hispanic humanist and Latin poet Juan de Sesa,enslaved as a child in Granada. This copy inscribed by author on ffep,"For Dr. Cromwell/ with every good wish/ Valaurez B. Spratlin/Washington, D.C./ November 1, 1938."
