- Book 38 of 44: Judge Dredd: The Complete Case Files
In the nightmare metropolis of the future he is judge, jury and executioner - he is Judge Dredd!
The best-selling Complete Case Files series continues with Judge Dredd leaving the mean streets of Mega-City One to bring his own brand of 'justice' to other parts of the world.
The hunt for one perp leads the lawman to the ruins of Cincinnati, while another criminal racket has links to the Far East. Against his better wishes, Dredd must join forces with People's Justice Ministry Inspector Liu Chan Yeun, known on the streets as 'Johnny Woo'!

About the Author
John Smith is unquestionably a 2000 AD hero, with a host of creative credits to his name, including A Love Like Blood, Devlin Waugh, Firekind, Holocaust 12, Indigo Prime, Pussyfoot 5, Revere, Slaughterbowl, Tyranny Rex, Leatherjack, Dead Eyes and Cradlegrave. Smith has also written Future Shocks, Judge Dredd, Judge Karyn, Pulp Sci-Fi, Robo-Hunter, Rogue Trooper, Tales from Beyond Science, Vector 13 and Tales from the Black Museum. Smith’s work beyond the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic includes the long-running New Statesmen series in Crisis, DC/Vertigo’s Hellblazer and Scarab, and Harris Comics’ Vampirella.
Charlie Adlard made his debut pencilling Judge Dredd in the eponymous Megazine; since then, he’s also illustrated Armitage and Judge Hershey in the Meg, and Judge Dredd, Nikolai Dante, Pulp Sci-Fi and Rogue Trooper in 2000 AD. His most recent work for the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic is the official sequel to Invasion!, the hard-hitting Savage. Beyond 2000 AD, Adlard has illustrated, Astronauts in Trouble, Codeflesh, DC/Wildstorm’s The Establishment, Shadowman, The X-Files, The Walking Dead and the graphic novels White Death and Rock Bottom.
Jim Murray has illustrated several strips for The Galaxy’s Greatest Comic including Judge Dredd, Harmony, Batman/Judge Dredd and Sláine.
Carl Critchlow is another 2000 AD artist whose popularity is rising, thanks primarily to his work on the co-created semi-comic sci-fi strip Lobster Random. He made his debut some years previously, however, working on Nemesis and Deadlock, then moving on to Batman/Judge Dredd, Flesh, Flesh 3000 AD, Future Shocks, Judge Dredd, Mean Machine and Tales of Telguuth. Outside of 2000 AD, Critchlow is well known for his work on Thrud The Barbarian.
Gordon Rennie is one of 2000 AD's most prolific creators, with co-creative credits for Caballistics, Inc., Missionary Man, Necronauts, Storming Heaven, Rain Dogs and Witchworld. Rennie has written for Heavy Metal and Warhammer, as well as Species, Starship Troopers and White Trash.
Patrick Goddard’s clean art style has graced many strips in the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic. Co-creator of the Megazine series Wardog, he has penciled Judge Dredd, Mean Machine, Middenface McNulty, Sinister Dexter and took over the art duties on Savage from Charlie Adlard.
