Mark I. Sutherland was born in Irvine, Scotland in 1975 and is a naturalized American citizen. The son of a minister, Mark grew up being taught that everyone is created equal, and when he immigrated to the United States in 1989 he discovered an entire nation that believed the same. He soon fell in love with the principles that made America great, and with the American people who accepted him as one of their own.

Mark moved directly to St. Louis, MO when he came to the United States. He worked for many years in local radio, as a DJ, a talk show host and even as a personality on the Steve and DC Morning Show. In 1997, Mark was a key part of developing the Rage Against Destruction anti-violence school program, and served as the media/government relations director from 1999-2002 as the program worked across the nation with over 1/4 million students.

In late 2002, Mark started working as a political and constitutional analyst, and in late 2004 he founded the National Policy Center. Mark currently works as the public relations director for Joyce Meyer Ministries, and he also continues his work with political organizations, state politicians and members of Congress across the United States. His work has allowed him to work alongside Chief Justice Roy Moore, Ambassador Alan Keyes and many other American patriots. He is married with three children.
