It's CJ the frog's birthday and he's bored, so he and his faithful firefly friend Edison decide to travel around the world! In this short chapter book designed to complement the second-grade-level JumpStart workbooks, the frog and firefly duo find missing pieces of a treasure map in different countries by following the directions on their map and using a compass. Meanwhile, the evil Dr. Listick, disguised as a snail, follows them in an attempt to find the treasure first. After several harrowing adventures, CJ and Edison find the treasure in a mountain cave--a surprise birthday party masterminded by the inventive Edison.
