Slightly smaller book, dark blue cloth with facsimile signature embossed on front, ornate gilt and design with illustrations of on most of spine in near-bright gilt, ink Christmas note (1965) on all of first front end paper, 212 lightly browned pages, illustrations throughout. DJ dark glossy blue background with gilt borders, illustration of ship, horsemen, and animals, photo inset on top back of Kipling in gilt frame. DJ has light wear to bookfold edges, spine lightly rubbed in places, very slight surface wear to spine bottom edge and bottom back tip. Near Very Good DJ/Very Fine book.
