Add to basketTHE JUNGLE BOOKS BY RUDYARD KIPLING HERITAGE PRESS 1968 SLIPCASE SANDGLASS N.F. Staying with the books of the Heritage Press, I am pleased to offer another classic: The Jungle Books by Rudyard Kipling, introduced by Bonamy Dobree and illustrated by David Gentleman. This largish-sized hard cover book (7 ¼ x 10 ½ x 1 ½ inches, 383 pages) was published by the Heritage Press dated 1968. The book is nicely illustrated with 16 four-color plates and another 50+ line drawings and decorations. This book includes the Heritage Club Newsletter Sandglass (Number V: 33) which is laid-in. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. There is some minor wear along the bottom edge but otherwise it is intact and doing its job. The hard covers are clean and bright and handsome and unbumped. Inside, as in almost all these Heritage Press books, there is a bookplate from a former owner on the front endpaper. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
