Love, hate, jealousy, forgiveness, deception, self-reliance, and self-sacrifice are shown as the animals try to find their way through grim times. Filled with action and romance, the book captivates readers of both sexes. Written for the young teen, the symbolism showing God's love shines through. The accurate descriptions of the animals and topography of the Amazon Jungle are refreshing. The questions at the end of each chapter lead the reader to self-reflection and make the book an excellent discussion guide for teen leaders.
