A vintage 1935 activity book designed to entertain children ages 10-13 who are sick with contagious illnesses. It features puzzles, crafts, short stories, magic stunts, riddles, mazes, limericks, cartoons, quizzes, and indoor games. The red, black, and white cover is worn at its edges. The spine, missing its top inch-and-a-half, is taped to the front and back covers. The back cover graphic has been drawn over in ink by a child. The inside front cover has been inscribed with a Christmas greeting. Some of the answers to questions and games have been filled in with pencil or ink. A poem entitled Clean Person's Lament has been penciled on the blank inside back page. 182 pages.
