A lovely, well-preserved copy of Juvenile Repository, a serial publication for children published in 1833. Includes sections teaching children how cotton and silk are produced and "How Flies Crawl with their Feet Over Their Heads". Also includes a story titled "The Studious Children", verse titled "The Holiday", a warning against the evils of drinking, and a description of trees that grow in the West Indies. 12mo (6" by 3.25"), pp. [193]-216, with in-text wood engraved illustration, sewn in original printed wrappers. Very good to near-fine. Minor foxing, dust soiling, edge wear, foot of spine chipped. One or two small stains within.
