About the Author

Ed Gilbert is a well respected dog show judge, author and lecturer. He is the past winner of the Dog Writers Association of American award and Honorable Mention, Best Dog Book Award. He is included in the "Who's Who in Dogs" by Connie Vanacore.

Thelma Brown is co-author with her late husband, Curtis, of "The Art and Science of Judging Dogs" winner of a "Best Book" award. She was a leader in judges education and is an AKC Emeritus Judge.
