Green cloth covers with lettering on spine and front cover which is clean. Covers exhibit light wear and fraying on corners and spine ends. Light wear and bumping to the bottom edges in the hinge area. Moderate shelf wear and soiling to covers . Previous owners name on the upper edge of the inside front cover. Light yellowing to text and page ends. Text is otherwise clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. "Written for study without the aid of a teacher. The mastery of the two general principles learned to read the scales ad perform the operations guarantees success." All books are individually examined and described.
