"This third part of the Kautiliya Arthasastra completes the project, commencing with the critically edited Sanskrit text (Part I, 1960), followed by that of the translation in English with critical notes (Part II, 1963), of presenting to Indologists, a comprehensive work on this difficult Sanskrit work." Hardback, with dust wrapper. Moderately rubbed at the edges. Head and tail of spine rubbed and bumped. Binding is neat and tidy. Page edges are showing some moderate discolouration, particularly at the head edge. Free endpapers are lightly thumbed and bearing some discolouration, so too half-title and some pages throughout, else book is in good condition. Dustjacket is moderately rubbed and thumbed. Spine sunned. Some more signs of use and light creasing towards the edges. Back cover has some scuffing and rubbing at edges. Spine sunned. Price clipped. General discolouration, else in good condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
