Add to basketone of Duke Abercorn, U.K. Angus Hamilton had been in Dae Han Empire from 1899 to 1902, at least. He saw the two ceremonies for the time. One is the rehearsal for the banquet celebrated the Gojong s entrance of senior officer society on April 1902. That was drummed dance which was performed by 18-beautiful girls. While they danced with drumming, they sang the poem created by crown prince Hyo-Myeong . This is changed compared with early Joseon s performance that had a singer and dancer respectively. The other is a ritual which raised the positions of ancestors as emperor and empress and imperial progress for that. He wrote there placed the musicians with not playing instruments in the emperor s marching. In addition, there was a feast for the emperor who had a hard time due to the ancestral rites.
