Rightly goes the saying banocchistam jagat sarvam. Though Bana at times appears to be too ornate and verbose his style is always mellifluous and his writing enriched in allusions and cultural ideals to all time of all people. At the same time his good style marked by long compounds and lofty imaginations can never be lost sight off. The present work has highlighted the merits of Bhanucandra as commentator of Bana's Kadambari. And has given a critical analysis of Bana's style and diction and also the erudite scholarship of Bhanu who has left on word unturned to find out the sources of Bana's usage and contention. The work is an answer to the criticism made on the commentary of Bhanucandra by critically evaluating the commentary from all aspects. 232 pp.
