Prices are final prices incl. German VAT (books 7%, other goods 19%). Shipping charges as shown on AbeBooks/ZVAB apply. Standard shipping within Germany; international shipping to selected countries on request/when ordered via the platform. Import duties/taxes/bank fees in the destination country are borne by the buyer. - Payment

We primarily sell used books/periodicals. Typical wear (age-related discoloration, stamps, notes, cover defects) is reflected in pricing and does not constitute a defect if disclosed in the listing. - Warranty (statutory liability for defects)
EU law applies. For used goods sold to consumers, limitation period is one year from delivery (exceptions apply for injury to life/health, intent/gross negligence/fraud, and supplier recourse). For business customers, one year from risk transfer; duty to inspect/notify under German Commercial Code applies. - Liability
Unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life/body/health, product liability, and given guarantees. For simple negligence, liability is limited to typical foreseeable damages where material contractual duties are breached. - Retention of title
Goods remain our property until paid in full. - ADR/ODR
The EU ODR platform has been discontinued (20 July 2025). We are not obliged or willing to participate in consumer ADR proceedings. - Governing law / venue
German law (CISG excluded). For consumers, mandatory protections of their country of residence remain unaffected. Venue for merchants: Northeim, Germany.
