Kane Vol 1

Kane by Will Meldman is a brutal, action-driven comic that fuses supernatural mythology with the raw energy of 1980s action epics. At its core is Kane, a man descended from a hidden lineage of werewolves, who lives with the burden of monstrous power and a warrior’s responsibility. His quiet existence is shattered when a ruthless corporation descends upon a small mining town, exploiting its people and resources without mercy. Kane becomes both protector and avenger, standing as the last line of defense between the townsfolk and the company’s heavily armed enforcers.
As the conflict escalates, Kane must reconcile his humanity with his beastly heritage, unleashing his primal fury to survive overwhelming odds. Actor Brock O’Hurn brings Kane to life with a larger-than-life presence, blending charisma and physicality with the tortured soul of a reluctant hero. The series blends pulse-pounding gunfights and explosive set pieces with moments of horror and transformation, evoking classics like Rambo and Terminator while carving its own mythic path. More than a story of survival, Kane is about legacy, sacrifice, and the fight against corporate evil. It positions Kane not just as a warrior, but as the embodiment of a timeless struggle between predation and protection.

Will Meldman, a USC School of Cinematic Arts alumnus and the founder of Double Down Pictures, is the brain behind the Kane comic universe. Additionally, he co-founded Recover 180, a brand focused on wellness and recovery.
