Katalog zur Versteigerung der bedeutenden Sammlung von Johannes von Geissel (1796-1864), dem Kardinal-Erzbischof von Köln, der auch selbst Lyrik und historische Werke publizierte. Enthalten sind 41 seiner eigenen Werke. - Die Auktion umfasst auch einige weitere Bibliotheken: Althans in Sayn, Longard in Coblenz, and Pastor Peters in Mündt, Landdechant Schmitz in Kerpen, Rector van den Bosch, Senatspräsident von Weiler. Die erste Abteilung umfasst Manuskripte, Jura, Diplomatik etc., die zweite Orientalische Sprachen, Ausland etc., die dritte Kiunstgeschichte, Kupferstiche etc. Eine vierte Abteilung würde Theologie und Vermischtes enthalten, ist hier aber, wie offenbar öfter, nicht enthalten. - Pappband etwas gebräunt und fleckig, hübsch gebunden.
