12mo. Paperback. 192 pp. A.E.R. Spine cocked, creased, and lightly worn at ends. Some very light soiling to foot of rear cover. All too often an Outpatients Department is a target for much well-founded criticism. The appointments system is in chaos, busy nurses and doctors have too little time to treat patients with the consideration they need. It was Kate's job to improve the "public relations" of her department. How she succeeded is told in an absorbing story packed with authentic hospital detail.
