The Trilogy refers to three bodies of water: the Mississippi River, Coastal Waters of the United States, and the Great Lakes - over 7,500 miles by kayak.

About the Author

Randall R. Bauer was born in Long Prairie, Minnesota. Randy was an Eagle Scout where he was introduced to much of the knowledge and many of the skills he needed to complete this Trilogy. After obtaining a degree in Wildlife Management, Randy was drafted into the army, returned from service to get his teaching credentials and launched this Trilogy adventure. In addition to teaching, Randy was employed by the National Park Service. Randy died from Cancer in 2007; one of his final requests was for this manuscript to be published.
