Dr. John Kalb, MS, DC is a baby boomer who has been interested in brain health throughout his career. He has thirty-seven years in clinical practice as a wellness chiropractor and health coach. He received his pre-med training at NYU, earning a BA in psychology and chemistry, then earning a Master of Science (MS) in biology from the University at Buffalo. In addition, he has have taken numerous postgraduate courses in neuroscience, clinical nutrition, and physical medicine. He is an adjunct faculty member at Southern Oregon University where he teaches through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Dr. Kalb runs a thriving holistic practice in Ashland, Oregon with a focus on prevention, wellness, and enhancing brain function. Dr. Kalb’s previous two books are Steamed Greens for the Spirit and Winning at Aging.

About the Author
John M. Kalb, MS, DC is a doctor of chiropractic, pubic speaker, educator, scientist, and health coach. Dr. Kalb is an adjunct faculty member at Southern Oregon University where he teaches numerous courses about the brain, conscious aging, and happiness, through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
Dr. Kalb also coaches individuals and professionals in business, politics, and health care, as well as other coaches. His emphasis is on helping individuals and organizations apply the latest lessons from brain science to maximize productivity and satisfaction.
John did his pre-med training at New York University in psychology and chemistry, and earned his Master's in biology from the University at Buffalo. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1981 and has taken numerous post-graduate courses in neuroscience, gerontology, functional medicine, clinical nutrition, and physical medicine. He is passionate about translating cutting-edge research in health, neuroscience, and psychology into positive action steps for his clients, patients, and readers. Dr. Kalb runs a thriving chiropractic practice in Ashland, Oregon with a focus on interesting his patients in prevention, wellness, and longevity.
