Michele Morris was raised in a suburb outside of Cincinnati. She has survived verbal, physical, and emotional abuse to become strong-willed enough to raise her three children. She has volunteered with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, as well as volunteering with the Amputee Coalition.
