Paperback. Aging presents us with enough challenges without us constantly taking inventory of things we have lost. This book addresses issues from the sublime to the ridiculous: -- how to explain our new repertoire of profanities-- which self-incriminating documents to save for posterity-- when to suggest group hugs to new acquaintances-- whether to tell adult children that we have taken up bungee jumpingThrough almost sixty short essays and their companion illustrations (sometimes whimsical, sometimes poignant), Willy and Joseph Garver dare us to shatter stereotypes and turn a deaf ear to those who caution us to "act our age."
