Iv pp + 320 pages and an 8 page index at the rear, a table of miles and 3 folding road maps, full mottled calf old with gilt ruled borders, repair to the spine, original spine laid over the later calf, sympathetically done with a clean morocco label on the spine, original marbled endpapers, road maps a little age browned, hand-made paper, so all clean and robust. Octavo. 1790. Revised and enlarged edition. 1st thus.

We are a small, single-owner business. We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.…
