First thus large paper edition hard back binding in publisher's original white buckram covers, gilt title and author lettering to the spine, gilt decorations and to the front cover, page edges untrimmed. 4to 10½'' x 7¼''. 1 of 250 Limited Edition copies. Contains tissue-guarded frontispiece; [xxxii]; 286 printed pages of text with beautifully illustrated capital letters and chapter headers along with 47 black and white illustrations by Hugh Thomson. Spine sun darkened, light foxing to the end papers, light tanning to the untrimmed over lapping page edges and in Very Good clean and sound condition. Member of the P.B.F.A. AMERICA [Literature].
