Very good, oversized hardcover (no dust jacket) shows rubbing wear at edges, ends and corners, bit of chipping and small tear at spine head, light soil and bit of spot staining at page edges and some other light trace wear, else tight and clean. 400 pages loaded with black & whites. Still a pleasing copy of this work that includes but is not limited to photos of long rifle patchboxes, weapon maker's barrel mark, basic specs, references to published date and gunsmith and current owner as well.
