Publishers dark red cloth gilt title to the upper cover, with title and rifle vignette to the spine, light surface rubbing to the head and tail of the spine a very good clean tight copy. Riling notes 2 types of bindings one in buckram and " a scarce deluxe edition bound in red fabricated binding with rifle in gilt to back"." Riling 1959: "A standard reference work on the subject, not surpassed to date.".
