Frances Ridley Havergal (1836?1879) was born in Worcestershire, England. Intelligent and educated, her life was characterized by a deep earnest consecration to Jesus. She wrote many devotional books and hundreds of hymns and poems. She wrote this book at the end of her life, very shortly before her unexpected early death at age 42. This completed volume was to be an encouragement to believers to follow wholly the Lord Jesus was built around the verses of her Consecration Hymn, published soon after her death. There is true encouragement here to "follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth." A clean presentable copy. Seller Inventory # 015160
