Decorative print employed as a wish card; handcolored.Two pillars on the sides (twee pilaren, zuilen), surmounted by vases. On the pillars are a total of twelve ovals with the representations of the months (ellegorie van de maanden van het jaar). At bottom center a village by the water with a man riding a horse.Numbered on the top right corner: 'N. 7'; with the address of the publisher at the bottom: 'te Amsterdam, by H. Moolenyzer.' [Hendrik Moolenijzer (fl. 1792-1847)]The inscription testifies that this impression was used as wishcard to the uncle of Pieter van Stiepriaan (Pieter van Stipriaan) for Christmas, A.o. 1827. Te Haringhuizen.Haringhuizen is een dorp in de gemeente Hollands Kroon in de Nederlandse provincie Noord-Holland. Het is eeuwenlang een tweelingdorp geweest met Barsingerhorn; deze twee dorpen vormden samen ooit de stad Barsingerhorn.Pieter van Stipriaan is hoogstwaarschijnlijk geboren op 18 maart 1817 (of 1816) in Barsingerhorn. Zijn beroep was arbeider. Hij is overleden op 18 maart 1900 in Schagen op 83 jarige leeftijd. Hij was een kind van Jan Leendertsz van Stipriaan en Aaltje Otsen.
