The Keuka Hotel

Experience a soul-stirring journey back to the "Golden Age" of the Finger Lakes in The Keuka Hotel: The Summer We Turned 17. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Keuka Lake, this evocative novel follows the story of Dylan and Maggie, two brilliant teenagers whose lives collide during a high-stakes sailing race in a fierce summer squall. What begins as a display of athletic rivalry quickly transforms into an unforgettable summer of first love, shared adventures, and life-altering choices.

As they navigate the tricky winds of the "Crooked Lake" and the historic halls of the majestic Keuka Hotel, Dylan and Maggie discover more than just the thrill of the water. From restoring a classic 1935 Ford Deluxe to exploring the hidden gems of the region, their bond deepens amid the elegance of a bygone era. However, as the summer wanes, they must face the temporal nature of youth and the bittersweet reality of moving toward an uncertain future.

Rich with historical detail and emotional depth, Keith R. Clark delivers a masterful tale of nostalgia, passion, and the enduring power of memory. Whether you are a fan of coming-of-age stories or historical fiction, this book offers an "intoxicating" glimpse into a magical summer that stays with you long after the final page is turned.
