The Key Is Me

The Key is Me is a story of inspiration that teaches children how important it is to have faith, confidence, and always believe in themselves. Our children are our future. They begin to learn as they grown older that they are the key component towards becoming the greatest change this world needs.

Author Freda Camille recently discovered the first poem she wrote was at the tender age of 6. Writing has always been a place of peace and refuge for her. She mentored young ladies in her community, and has spoken at several treatment facilities in PA and NJ. During these moments, God allowed her to become transparent and share her testimony about the various adversities she has overcome in her life such as: molestation, teenage pregnancy, depression, and was her mother's care taker due to mental illness. These are just a few examples of what she experienced in her childhood that almost broke her; however, were the very things that became her strength and caused her to become so passionate about working with young people. Her desire is to encourage those who have endured the sting or stigma of the pain she has. Freda’s vision is to become the person she needed when she was a little girl. She wants you to know and see through her personal testimony that you can get through it and become successful.
