About this Item

Hardcover with dust jacket, published by Lippincott, 1954. A Book Club edition. In this Mr. and Mrs. North mystery, they are involved with the murder of a lawyer. 224 pages, 6" X 8-1/2". Dust jacket has edge wear, chips at the head and heel of the spine, short closed tear of about an inch on the top edge of the back panel. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Bright yellow hardcover boards are flat, with just very slight bumps to the lower corners. Dark blue top-stain to the text block does not appear to be faded. Bottom edge of the text block has some foxing dots. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages, not a library discard. Attached are some photos of the copy we have in our inventory.
