About the Author
Dr. Muzzammil Ali, a graduate of the University of Birmingham, UK, is a Senior Registrar in Intensive Care and Acute Internal Medicine in the West Midlands. He successfully completed the Final FFICM exam in April 2022. Dedicated to medical education, he focuses on assisting trainees to excel in medical exams and achieve ultrasound accreditation. Muzzammil holds leadership roles at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, serves as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham, and represents West Midlands trainees in Intensive Care Medicine.
Dr. Joanna Kondratowicz, a medical graduate from the University of Bristol, UK, also holds a First-Class intercalated degree in bioethics. She currently works as an Internal Medicine Trainee in London, UK, and has successfully completed her MRCP(UK) postgraduate exams. Kondratowicz's keen interest in Intensive Care Medicine was sparked during her redeployment to critical care amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, and she has since continued to gain experience in this exciting specialty.
