Kidd's Story

Kidd Knight is used to the hard knocks of life. An alcoholic father. Hunger pains. Cold nights. The skate park is the
only place that feels remotely like home, so he rides until closing every night just to avoid going back.

Then Breeze Lee rolls into his world.

Fearless, wild, and impossible to ignore, Breeze sees something special in Kidd long before he sees it in himself. After six weeks of watching him from a distance, she finally approaches with a bag of Burger King, a skateboard, and one promise that changes everything:

“Come friend, tonight you will be safe and warm.”

Overnight, Kidd is thrown into underground racing, dirt bike stunts, skateboarding chaos, and a family he never thought he could have.

But Breeze’s family is far from ordinary. Telepaths. Shifters. Abilities pulled straight from myths and legends. And Breeze is convinced Kidd belongs among them. Now Kidd must discover who he truly is while holding onto the first real home he has ever known.
