Dan Schaffer is a London based comic book writer/artist and screenwriter. Dan is the writer of the cult movies The Scribbler and Doghouse. Dan s first comic book series, the critically acclaimed Dogwitch, was launched in 2001 and became an underground hit in the US and the UK. In 2005, he collaborated with iconic British rock singer Katiejane Garside on the graphic novel Indigo Vertigo for Image Comics.
Dan s own screenplay adaptation of his graphic novel The Scribbler was produced by New Artist s Alliance and released in the fall of 2014. Directed by John Suits, the film stars Katie Cassidy, Garret Dillahunt, Gina Gershon, Eliza Dushku, Michelle Trachtenberg, Ashlynn Yennie and Sasha Grey.
