New suspense-thriller is a perturbing tale of love, murder and survival

A son of neglect and daughter of abuse could prove to be one disastrous combination filled with perversion and indignity as these two worlds accidentally collide in which could only be a twisted whim of the cosmos. Tony Pringer explores such controversial depths in his book, Killing Lisa.
Nick Multano and Lisa Cloverton are two wretches caught up in their own miserable lives. Nick has become a small-time crook, having grown up without any real parental guidance and on the rebound from an ugly marriage that ended in a mutually spiteful divorce. Lisa on the other hand, has been sexually abused by her father since she was eight. As she grew older and the abuse became regular, her father shaped and controlled her.
The two twisted characters meet on one fateful night after Nick had accidentally killed a man. He kidnaps Lisa in her car and they go on a long-winding trip that would develop Lisa's hunger for affection into a twisted infatuation. While Nick gives in to his lusty urges, he keeps his deadly plans for her. Meanwhile, an amateur detective who picks up their trail falls in love with the picture of a hauntingly beautiful girl gone missing. Killing Lisa is a murderous love story that dives into the depths of human degradation, both with the suspense and the unusual love triangle surprise. For more information, log on to

About the Author
As a teenager, Tony hitchhiked across the country meeting a lot of people and working many diverse jobs. He learned many job skills, lived in a commune, and spent time in jail as a vagrant.
Later he joined the Air Force and served in several foreign countries, and upon completing his tour of duty began drifting again.
Always a rolling stone he did everything from construction, ranching, bartending to library assistant. Working in the L.A. area, he was exposed to a good number of mob type people.
Tony gained a keen understanding of people from the elite to the poor, and this background gives him a raw insight which he used in his writing to create the scenes and characters in his novels.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
